Customizable palettes
The customizable palettes, often also called professional palettes, are real little wonders that are too little known for my taste. They are also called professional palettes because, as the name suggests, they are intended for professionals. However, I remind you that it is not because the product is intended for the latter that you should not buy it, quite the contrary. Professionals very often use the latter since they represent many advantages essential to the profession of make-up artist. Indeed this job requires having a wide choice of products to be ready to perform all types of makeup but also to be mobile which becomes more complicated with a significant quantity of product. This is why customizable pallets, which greatly eliminate the space taken up by packaging, but which also allow them to choose not only the products but also their quantity, therefore provide them with a range of products, without affecting their mobility. In summary, here are the reasons to be interested in customizable palettes:
More ecological because of its way of consuming (buy only what is necessary, repair the breakage and improve what is not liked). But also because it uses less packaging which brings us to the second point,
Less bulky since less packaging
Always more economical because there is less packaging but also because of the mode of consumption (buy what is necessary)
Customizable, both the palette and its layout or even the products themselves through mixtures
Applicable to all powders, creamy products (lipstick type) and even liquids (especially cream which cannot be contained in a pan). However, these will not be mentioned more because it is enough to decant into containers and as you can imagine will not fit in a palette.

Don't forget that you can also recycle your own pallets and panels with the techniques that you will see in particular in section 2. C.
2. Second step choose your products (if creamy lipstick type product step 3)
Several scenarios:
A. the powder is directly sold in pans
It's perfect he is ready to integrate his new family
Do-it-yourself eyeshadow by terry
B. The powder can be deposited whether it is in a pallet or in mono
Just find out how to unload it,
For example Kat von d left a small hole behind to push the pan with a compass
Kvd Beauty "Kitten Mini: Shade + Light Contour Duo"
Purchasable at Kvd Beauty for $23 with the attached link
Otherwise, take a spatula (some are even magnetic to adhere to the pan)
Z-palette "MULTICOLOR DEPOTTING SPATULA Z PALETTE"

or a thin but resistant and above all NOT SHARP object so as not to injure you or the product. It will be used to leverage between the packaging and the pan.
If you are not sure to go slowly but do not force at the risk of breaking everything, by flying the makeup so that it crashes on the ground is good to throw away
C. It is not removable whether it is in a pallet or in mono,
Or is in a pan that does not suit you
Or is it a creamy product
For this section, you can use the YouTube videos of Z-palette, which can be found at the attached link.
https://www.zpalette.com/pages/how-to-videos
You have two choices:
Scrape the product with a spatula like the one above, having previously taken your precautions to protect what surrounds the make-up. Transfer the product to another empty pan if it is a creamy texture go to the second option to have a cleaner finish
Otherwise, for a powder, mix the pigment with alcohol (of medicine) which will evaporate afterwards.
I think it is also possible to replace the alcohol with a fixing spray or waterproof liquid like the duraline product from inglot cosmetics
INGLOT COSMETICS " DURALINE"
Purchasable at Beauty Bay at the price of 11€ 75 with the attached link
https://www.beautybay.com/fr/p/inglot-cosmetics/duraline/
or other cosmetic products on condition that they are liquid and which will dry out in order to keep a texture that can be contained in a pan.
This technique can therefore add properties to your eyeshadows, however I am not sure of the alteration that these liquids can have on the pigments.
Then all you have to do is press the mixture using baking paper and a small flat surface like a lipstick. Finally let it dry to rediscover a far like new
You can use this same technique to repair broken eyeshadow;
Second option break the packaging and take the pan out intact, which can be much more complicated depending on the packaging (mono shadow or palette, cardboard or plastic packaging material)
First, isolate the make-up as much as possible and above all remove all the cardboard that will stick to the pan. Once this is done it is now a question of melting the glue which hinders our projects, whether you use a heating plate, there are specific ones for this function like this one
Z-pallet "Z POTTER"
Purchasable at Z-palette for $59 with the attached link
https://www.zpalette.com/collections/z-palette-tools/products/z-potter
or a straightener, protect them with baking paper before applying the rest of the packaging;
Or new pan with the creamy texture in order to melt it to smooth the surface for a cleaner look
Watch the cooking it remains dangerous and take your precautions.
Especially when taking the product. It is now necessary to separate the pan from the melted glue and the rest of the packaging, to have a clean finish and ready to be stored with its congeners, you can in particular use solvent or oil to eliminate any small trace of stubborn glue.
3. Third step organized your small works
You can use inserts
Purchasable at Mac cosmetics at the price of 3€ with the attached link
It is an aesthetic choice at the cost of space for other sections, a risk of incompatibility whether between the inserts and the pallets or the inserts and the sections... Especially objectively it is to remove from the packaging to put it back afterwards, so a small ecological loss.
Arrange the sides directly in the pallet
Two possibilities
The pan is magnetized and from the right perfect pole you can go straight to organization
It is not magnetized or from the wrong pole
Here you still have two choices: the sticker / glue which is a solution which can prove definitive or at least which leaves more traces than the following one
Purchasable at Z-palette for $6 with the attached link
https://www.zpalette.com/collections/z-palette-tools/products/round-metal-stickers
Z-palette "SQUARE METAL STICKERS"
